Oviedo fans are gearing up for a nostalgic journey that promises to be filled with glory. The upcoming ‘Legends Match’ will bring together more than 120 former players who have left an indelible mark on the club’s century-long history. This illustrious gathering features renowned names such as Esteban, Abel Xavier, Jerkan, Dely Valdés, Carlos Muñoz, Michu, and Santi Cazorla—names that any supporter would eagerly sign up for to ensure the club’s continued legacy.

From immortal legends like Marianín to the heroes of the 1987-88 promotion, the golden era in La Liga, and the historic European tie against Genoa, the Tartiere Stadium will transform into a living album of cherished memories. The event will also celebrate women’s football, featuring notable players Yoli Chamorro, Carol Fernández, and Sheila González.

The day will commence in the morning with an autograph signing session at the Auditorio Príncipe Felipe. In the afternoon, Tartiere Stadium will open its doors to host a triangular match of legends, featuring games lasting 35 minutes each. The teams will bear names steeped in history: Teatinos, Buenavista, and Carlos Tartiere, representing the three stadiums that have hosted the blue club throughout its journey.

The Teatinos team will include: Esteban, Rafa, Boris, Jonhatan Vila, Armando, Mossa, Redondo, Rabarivony, Abel Xavier, Christian Fernández, Susaeta, Hector Font, Fermín, Sergio Garcia, Tomás, Iván Ania, Tito Pompei, Bango, Paco Fernandez, Gaspar, Dely Valdes, Linares, Toché, Jordi Vinyals, Pablo Maqueda, and Sheila.
