Raúl Moro made a significant entrance to Ajax, accompanied by much fanfare and a substantial transfer fee. However, reports suggest that he may depart from Amsterdam as early as January.

According to the Spanish newspaper La Razón, at least three clubs have expressed concrete interest in collaborating with the La Furia Roja youth international: Espanyol, Real Oviedo, and Valencia. Currently positioned fourth in LaLiga, Espanyol appears to have the strongest prospects of securing his services, likely on a loan basis. Ajax, for its part, is reportedly open to loaning out Moro, provided a reasonable fee is agreed upon.

Tyro Nimmermeer, who previously played alongside the Ajax forward during their time at SS Lazio, shared his admiration for Moro’s skills in an interview with ELF Voetbal: “I must say, we recognized right away that Moro was a talented player, but it was truly during matches that we saw how much trouble he posed for opponents. He is agile and made an impact in every match, often carrying us through tough situations.”

However, Moro then transferred to Real Valladolid, with Nimmermeer noting, “Spain and the Netherlands are much better suited to the type of player he is. We played in a system without traditional wingers. In my opinion, Moro’s best position is that of a pure winger, preferably on the left but also capable from the right.”
