Andries Jonker Addresses Ajax Coaching Rumors

Andries Jonker has occasionally been linked to the coaching position at Ajax, primarily due to his strong rapport with Louis van Gaal, who serves as an advisor to the supervisory board of the Amsterdam club.

In a conversation with NPO Radio 1, the former coach of the Dutch women’s national team stated, “I have never been approached by Ajax. Not to coach the Under-11 team, not to prepare sandwiches, and not to set up the table tennis table. I understand this well. However, I am immediately associated with Van Gaal, aside from any other arguments one might make.”
