According to The Athletic, the club has reached a preliminary agreement with FC Cincinnati for the acquisition of Argentine winger Orellano, following the acceptance of Monterrey’s latest offer.

Negotiations have unfolded over multiple rounds, with Cincinnati previously rejecting two offers that did not meet their expectations. Monterrey’s perseverance has ultimately paid off, as the MLS club has approved a deal that aligns with their financial requirements. With only a few final details pending, Orellano is expected to travel to Monterrey shortly to finalize the agreement and join the team for preseason training.

A product of Vélez Sarsfield, the 25-year-old winger has cultivated a diverse career, gaining valuable experience across Argentina, Brazil, and Major League Soccer.
