Raúl Moro arrived at Ajax with high expectations and a significant transfer fee, yet he could be on his way out of Amsterdam as early as January.

According to the Spanish newspaper La Razón, at least three clubs are showing concrete interest in collaborating with the young international from La Furia Roja: Espanyol, Real Oviedo, and Valencia. Currently, Espanyol, ranked fourth in LaLiga, appears to have the best chance of acquiring him, potentially on a loan basis. Reports suggest that Ajax is open to the idea of loaning out Moro, provided a reasonable fee is agreed upon.

Tyro Nimmermeer, who played alongside Moro in the youth team at SS Lazio, expressed his admiration for the winger’s skills in an interview with ELF Voetbal: “I must say that we recognized Moro’s talent immediately, but it was only during matches that we truly understood how much trouble he caused for opponents. He is agile, consistently stood out in every game, and often helped us succeed.”

However, following his time at Lazio, Moro transferred to Real Valladolid. Nimmermeer noted, “Spain and the Netherlands are much better fits for the type of player he is. We played in a system without pure wingers, but I believe Moro’s best position is as a true winger, preferably on the left, although he could also excel on the right.”
