Ajax s Potential Move for Quilindschy Hartman A Financial DilemmaAjax s Potential Move for Quilindschy Hartman A Financial Dilemma

omidbasir- Is Ajax suddenly in a position to invest? Or do the Amsterdam-based club officials anticipate having funds available this summer? This financial capability may be essential for their pursuit of Quilindschy Hartman from Burnley.

Ajax is reportedly interested in acquiring the former Feyenoord player, with ESPN reporter Cristian Willaert stating, “They would prefer to arrange a loan with an option to buy. A direct purchase is challenging, as the technical director has not yet been formally appointed.”

The Telegraaf revealed yesterday that Ajax is looking into the possibility of loaning Quilindschy Hartman (24) from Burnley for six months. According to sources within the club, this consideration arose after Hartman expressed interest in a temporary transfer to Amsterdam around Christmas. It is important to note that Hartman, who recently began managing his own affairs, is just one of several options being explored. Furthermore, the deal is described as ‘not straightforward’.

It is noteworthy that Ajax desires to include a purchase option in the loan agreement, which raises questions about the financial feasibility. Hartman’s market value is estimated at eighteen million euros, and Burnley paid ten million euros for him last summer. If the purchase option is set at twenty or twenty-five million euros, can Ajax realistically afford to make a permanent acquisition? Will the new technical director, Jordi Cruijff, be willing to commit such a substantial amount?
