Elche Football Club Provides Update on Héctor Fort’s Shoulder Surgery

Elche Football Club issued an official statement on Monday regarding Héctor Fort, who has undergone surgery following an injury sustained during the match against Rayo Vallecano, shortly after scoring the opening goal.

Medical examinations revealed that Fort is suffering from an anterior dislocation of his left shoulder, which necessitated surgical intervention performed by the medical team of FC Barcelona, the club to which he is contracted.

The club from Elche has stated that the timeline for recovery will be determined based on the player’s progress over the coming weeks, and as such, a specific return date has not yet been established.

Fort’s injury represents a significant setback for coach Eder Sarabia, who is awaiting updates on his rehabilitation and when he may be available to the coaching staff.
