Jordi Cruijff’s Strategic Focus on Ajax’s New Head Coach

Jordi Cruijff will be focusing on several themes in the coming period, one of which includes the appointment of Ajax’s new head coach. Notably, Peter Bosz has already decided that he is not interested in returning to Amsterdam.

Cruijff does not need to reach out to the PSV coach regarding the vacancy. Bosz has previously collaborated with Cruijff at Maccabi Tel Aviv, and they have since developed a friendship. “He called me about this some time ago,” Bosz shared with De Telegraaf. “So I was already aware that this was a possibility. However, I was surprised that he was open to it, as he had previously told me in Tel Aviv that he does not see himself as Dutch but rather as Spanish. At that time, he did not envision making such a move so quickly.”
