A move to an Eredivisie club seems plausible, especially considering De Vrij’s close relationship with Robin van Persie, the current head coach of Feyenoord. In a recent interview with Algemeen Dagblad, De Vrij reflected on his time with Van Persie while playing for the national team, stating, “As eager as I was to learn, he was equally helpful.
