Eintracht Frankfurt has officially confirmed the acquisition of striker Younes Ebnoutalib from SV Elversberg. The 22-year-old player transitions from the 2. Bundesliga to the Bundesliga for a reported transfer fee of €10 million, including bonuses. Ebnoutalib has signed a contract that extends to 2031 in the RheinMain metropolis.

In a proactive move ahead of the January 2026 transfer window opening in just three days, Eintracht Frankfurt has completed four signings. Japanese international Ritsu Doan is now joined by two fellow compatriots. The club acquired Japanese left-back Keita Kosugi for a reported fee of €6.5 million, while young Japanese attacking prospect Keito Kumashiro has been signed for €400,000 as a longer-term investment.

Kosugi was brought in from Swedish club Djurgårdens IF, while 17-year-old attacking talent Love Arrhov from Brommapojkarna was added for a reported €4.5 million. Following a disappointing start to the 2025/26 Bundesliga season, Eintracht has invested a total of €21.4 million on new signings in January 2026.

“Younes is a very dangerous player with a solid physique,” noted Markus Krösche, Eintracht’s board member for sport, in a club statement. “In recent months, he has made significant strides in his development at Elversberg, and we aim to continue that growth. We believe he can quickly contribute to the team with his athletic skills.”

“With Younes Ebnoutalib, we have secured one of the most promising German strikers at this time,” added sporting director Markus Krösche. “He possesses a strong work ethic, excellent physical presence, and assertiveness in the box. Additionally, he is technically proficient and has a remarkable finishing ability. We are thrilled that he chose to join Eintracht Frankfurt, as his skills provide the coaching staff with more options in our attacking lineup.”
