Neraysho Kasanwirjo Returns to Feyenoord After Loan Spell

Feyenoord has not made any new acquisitions, but starting January 1, Robin van Persie will have access to a ‘new player’—the phrase is used intentionally. This player is Neraysho Kasanwirjo, who returns after a loan period in Norway.

Kasanwirjo is back at De Kuip following his time with Molde FK, a club that typically contends for European spots but had an underwhelming season, finishing tenth out of sixteen teams. During his loan, Kasanwirjo participated in seven of the last ten competitive matches, starting in four. Initially, he came off the bench three times before securing a spot in the starting lineup, playing both as a left-back twice and a right-back twice.
