The Real Madrid roster is currently preparing for their upcoming match against Betis on Sunday, although they will be without Dani Carvajal, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Éder Militao due to injuries. Additionally, Brahim Díaz is unavailable as he is participating in the Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco.

Following a crowded open training session at the Alfredo di Stéfano Stadium on Tuesday, Xabi Alonso’s team returned to private training at the Valdebebas sports complex to fine-tune their preparations for the onset of 2026.

Carvajal, Militao, and Alexander-Arnold are all engaged in their respective rehabilitation programs for long-term injuries. Meanwhile, Brahim Díaz will also miss the initial matches of the year due to his significant role in Morocco’s progression to the knockout stage of the tournament, where they are set to face Tanzania.

According to club reports, following a gym session, the players engaged in pressure drills, tactical exercises, and a ten-a-side match.

Real Madrid will host Betis on Sunday at 16:15, a crucial match for the team as they aim to maintain proximity to Barcelona in the league standings, seeking their third consecutive victory following wins against Alavés and Sevilla in their last two league matches of the year.
