Alisha Lehmann has played a pivotal role in F.C. Como Women’s success, featuring in six out of their nine league matches and contributing to their ascent to sixth place in the Serie A Femminile, just seven points behind leaders Roma.

Reflecting on her decision to join the club in August, Lehmann stated, “What immediately struck me about F.C. Como Women was the vision. It’s not just a club that wants to win; it’s a project aimed at transforming the rules of the game, both on and off the pitch. Here, football, identity, style, and ambition converge in a manner I have never encountered before. I felt this was the right environment for me to truly express my identity, both as an athlete and as an individual.”

Lehmann continued, acknowledging the club’s youth but emphasizing its clear sense of purpose: “It’s not afraid to take a unique approach, which I view as a sign of strength. F.C. Como Women aspires to become a benchmark in women’s football, not just in Italy, but across Europe and globally.”

She highlighted the club’s commitment to integrating sport, fashion, culture, and core values, asserting, “I believe that’s precisely what women’s football needs at this moment.”

In addition to her contributions on the field, Lehmann has garnered attention off it as well, having recently signed a partnership with Fanvue. The official Fanvue Instagram page announced her collaboration, stating, “A new era for athlete–creators begins. @alishalehmann7 joins Fanvue, unveiling the signing by recreating football’s most iconic ad. Alisha’s next chapter starts here. The game just changed.”

The announcement included a video of Lehmann showcasing her skills while wearing a Fanvue shirt, where she skillfully hit the crossbar from the edge of the box and repeated the impressive feat.

This performance draws parallels to the legendary Ronaldinho’s iconic advertisement during his time at Barcelona. Sponsored by Nike, the Brazilian superstar also demonstrated his finesse by striking the crossbar multiple times at Camp Nou.

F.C. Como Women will next compete in mid-January against Napoli, who are positioned two points and two spots below them in the league. Following that match, they will face Inter to conclude their January fixtures.
