Feyenoord Faces Dilemma with Quinten Timber’s Contract Situation

Feyenoord is currently experiencing significant uncertainty regarding Quinten Timber. The midfielder’s contract at De Kuip is nearing its end, leading to the risk of him leaving the club without a transfer fee.

It has become increasingly evident that the Rotterdam club intends to sell him in January for a reduced transfer fee, aiming to recoup some value before he potentially departs for free. With interested parties including Juventus, Napoli, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Galatasaray, there appears to be a viable market for the player.

However, Feyenoord is in a challenging position, as Timber holds a market value of approximately 25 million euros. Given his contract status, the club may not achieve that valuation in a transfer. Recently, supporters of the Eredivisie club displayed a banner urging clarity from Timber, stating, “Timber: clarity = honesty! Sign a new contract or leave.”
