Bayern Munich Goalkeeper Daniel Peretz Joins Southampton on Loan

According to a report from Sky Germany, Bayern Munich’s goalkeeper, Daniel Peretz, is poised to join Southampton in the English Championship.

Peretz’s loan at Hamburger SV was terminated earlier this year due to a lack of playing time. During his tenure at HSV, he did not feature at all in the Bundesliga and made just two appearances in the DFB-Pokal.

In light of this, Bayern Munich has secured a new opportunity for the 25-year-old goalkeeper at Southampton, where he is expected to sign a six-month loan agreement. Negotiations are currently underway, and it is anticipated that the Saints will have an option to purchase him once the loan period concludes this summer.

As reported by TransferMarkt, Peretz’s current market value stands at €2 million.

Southampton currently holds the 13th position in the Championship, having recently been relegated from the Premier League. However, they remain within striking distance of the play-offs, only six points adrift.
