Pre-Derby Press Meeting: Coaches Unite in Tradition

As is customary before a derby match, the coaches of both teams engaged in a traditional meeting and photo opportunity. Following Manolo González’s press conference at the RCDE Stadium, the white-and-blue coach and Hansi Flick stepped onto the pitch around 2:00 PM. The stadium was adorned with safety nets at both ends, setting the scene for their brief interaction, which lasted approximately two minutes.

During this short period, both coaches appeared cheerful and exchanged a few words. Notably, the German coach showed a keen interest in the playing surface; upon entering the field, Hansi Flick immediately crouched down to touch the grass. Subsequently, both coaches posed for photographers wearing their teams’ jerseys. A light-hearted moment occurred when Flick donned a blue-and-maroon jersey with ‘Gavi’ printed on it, which amused the Barcelona coach. The two coaches then departed the pitch, exchanging hugs as they headed towards the tunnel.
