omidbasir- Dani Parejo continues to shine as a pivotal player for Villarreal, celebrating a significant milestone with his 250th appearance for the club. Notably, he has started in the majority of these matches (204), although this season has seen a slight decrease in his starting role.

Since joining Villarreal in the 2020/21 season, Parejo’s impressive record includes 189 matches in La Liga, 19 in the Europa League, 17 in the Champions League, 9 in the Conference League, and 16 in the Copa del Rey. He has amassed a total of 540 appearances in La Liga, recently surpassing Sergio Ramos’ tally of 536. He is now just two matches shy of Paco Buyo’s 542 and three behind Eusebio Sacristán, placing him as the ninth player with the most appearances in La Liga history. Additionally, he is the second-most capped active player, trailing only behind Antoine Griezmann.
