AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has announced that forward Christian Pulisic is ready to return from a hamstring injury this weekend.

Pulisic sustained a low-grade tear in his right hamstring during the first half of the U.S. men’s national team’s 2-1 friendly victory over Australia on October 17.

In a press conference on Friday, Allegri confirmed that Pulisic is available for Milan’s match against Parma on Saturday. “We have Pulisic back, who is doing well and available to play,” he stated.

Despite regaining fitness, Pulisic was not included in Mauricio Pochettino’s roster for the USMNT’s friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay on November 15 and November 18. Pochettino explained that Pulisic was omitted to allow him the opportunity to fully recover.

Pulisic’s return is a significant boost for AC Milan, as the 27-year-old has been performing exceptionally this season, scoring six goals in eight appearances across all competitions.

Milan currently sits in third place in the Serie A standings, just one point behind defending champions Napoli. Allegri emphasized the positive atmosphere at the club, saying, “We need to stay grounded, strong, and poised even in unexpected moments. Our goal remains Champions League qualification. The season is long, with many competitors, so we will work hard and improve, and then assess our standings come March.”

In addition to Pulisic’s update, Allegri also mentioned that Mexico’s Santiago Gimenez and France’s Adrien Rabiot are expected to return from their injuries following the November international break.
