Ricardo Pepi s Winter Transfer Prospects Remain SlimRicardo Pepi s Winter Transfer Prospects Remain Slim

The likelihood of Ricardo Pepi departing from Eindhoven this winter appears very low, according to Voetbal International’s report on Monday morning. Only an ‘exorbitant offer’ could persuade PSV to sell the American striker mid-season.

PSV has no intention of selling Ricardo Pepi this winter. Fulham has been eyeing Pepi as a potential addition to their attack for several weeks now. They made an attempt to secure him with an offer ranging between €30 million and €35 million, but it was insufficient to convince Technical Director Earnest Stewart to proceed with a sale. Voetbal International notes that acquiring Pepi this winter will be challenging, stating, ‘Pepi will stay, at least unless an extraordinary offer materializes. Fulham’s bid did not fall into that category.’

After recovering from an injury, Pepi lost his starting position at PSV for a period. He struggled to reclaim it due to the impressive performances of Guus Til in his role. However, in the weeks leading up to the winter break, the American was reinstated as a starter in the attacking position. In his last five starts, he contributed significantly with four goals and one assist.
