Stije Resink Committed to FC Groningen Amid Transfer Speculation

omidbasir- The Eredivisie transfer market is currently abuzz with speculation surrounding Stije Resink. Clubs like Ajax, Feyenoord, and PSV have all been mentioned in connection with the midfielder; however, Resink has made it clear that he intends to remain loyal to FC Groningen.

Resink recently addressed rumors that emerged after his holiday with Feyenoord midfielder Luciano Valente, stating, “When something is highlighted, it spreads everywhere instantly. Initially, I received these messages, but now they are just baseless claims.” He continued, “We went on vacation together and are simply friends. I posted some fun photos from our trip, he commented, and suddenly it blew up.”

Ajax correspondent Mike Verweij believes that Ajax’s interest in Resink may intensify, particularly if they sell Taylor this winter. In the Kick-Off podcast, he said, “I think Ajax hopes to sell Taylor this winter. After that, they will definitely make a serious attempt to acquire Resink.” He further noted, “Resink will reportedly have a limited release clause after this season, whereas Groningen can currently demand any amount they wish.”
