Van Hanegem commented in the Algemeen Dagblad, stating, “Tijjani Reijnders is a composed player who will return, but he must reflect on how easily he was sidelined. Stefan de Vrij is likely having similar thoughts in Milan. Ronald Koeman continued with that squad after the European Championship, but our best player from that tournament was the one he chose to replace.”
