Stije Resink Addresses Transfer Speculation Amid Interest from Top Dutch ClubsStije Resink Addresses Transfer Speculation Amid Interest from Top Dutch Clubs

Stije Resink is in high demand among top Dutch clubs, with Ajax and Feyenoord reportedly interested in the FC Groningen midfielder. For now, it appears that the captain of the Trots van het Noorden will complete the season with his current club, with potential moves being discussed for the summer.

Interestingly, Resink recently vacationed with Feyenoord player Luciano Valente, prompting speculation about a possible transfer. However, Resink himself has chosen not to comment on such rumors, despite the thoughts of those around him.

In an interview with ESPN, Resink stated that he is unlikely to leave Groningen this winter. “No. I have previously indicated that I expect to finish the season with FC Groningen. This is largely because there are currently no concrete offers on the table. I feel comfortable here and will not leave the club without good reason. If a genuinely compelling offer arises that suits both me and the club, there is a small chance it could happen.”

While Feyenoord and Ajax are showing interest in the midfielder, Resink is not ready to express a preference for either club. “I haven’t heard anything,” he said, maintaining focus on his current responsibilities. Even with discussions around potential departures of players like Quinten Timber and Kenneth Taylor, the Groningen captain remains grounded. “I’m not following those developments. I’m concentrating on Groningen, which is the respectful thing to do.”
