Osasuna’s Coach Reflects on Defeat to Girona

Alessio Lisci, the head coach of Osasuna, expressed his disappointment following the team’s loss to Girona, marking another defeat in away matches where the Navarre side has yet to secure a victory. He noted, “It may weigh on the team psychologically, so we must keep our heads clear.”

Despite the loss, Lisci was incredulous about the outcome, stating, “If we played this match a hundred times, we would lose just once. This is the path we must take, and that is all there is to it.”

Regarding whether his team deserved a better outcome, the Osasuna manager commented, “In the first half, we were superior. We had clear opportunities, including two from Moncayola, a shot that hit the crossbar, and another from Víctor. That amounts to five clear chances in the top division while playing away.”
