Conor Bradley Faces Season Ending Injury After Arsenal MatchConor Bradley Faces Season Ending Injury After Arsenal Match

Liverpool defender Conor Bradley is set to miss the remainder of the season following a serious knee injury sustained during Thursday’s goalless draw against Arsenal.

In stoppage time at the Emirates Stadium, Bradley collapsed off the ball and was subsequently stretchered off the field. Head coach Arne Slot later expressed concerns, indicating that the club “feared the worst” for the right-back.

Subsequent scans revealed that, while Bradley did not incur an ACL injury, he has suffered significant damage to the bone and ligaments in his left knee.

This injury is a considerable setback for Slot’s squad, which has already been impacted by the loss of teenage center-back Giovanni Leoni, who is currently sidelined with an ACL injury sustained earlier this season.

The incident involving Bradley led to a confrontation on the pitch, as Arsenal substitute Gabriel Martinelli threw the ball at him and attempted to push him off the field while his team sought a late victory. Martinelli later offered an apology both publicly and privately for his actions.
