Celta Vigo’s Squad Update Ahead of Sevilla Match

Ferran Jutglá’s absence is the most significant change in the 24-player roster announced by Claudio Giráldez this Sunday ahead of the match against Sevilla.

This marks the first time the Catalan forward has not been included in a Celta Vigo matchday squad due to personal reasons. Throughout this season, Jutglá has seen a decrease in prominence, participating in 21 official matches, during which he scored two goals and provided one assist over 1,029 minutes of play.

Also omitted from the squad, for tactical reasons, are Carlos Domínguez and Ristic, both of whom received medical clearance this week.

Conversely, Carl Starfelt returns to the squad after missing the previous match against Valencia due to a lumbar strain from which he has now recovered.
