Levante UD held a heartfelt tribute in memory of Delia Bullido García, a valued club member who passed away on December 26 at the age of 49. This tribute was dedicated during the match played at Estadio Ciutat de València.

Delia was an integral part of Levante UD for 25 years, leaving an indelible mark through her commitment, warmth, and daily dedication to the club.

Prior to the match, Levante organized a series of commemorative events, joined by RCD Espanyol, as a show of respect and solidarity with the Levante family. Players from both teams wore black armbands, flags at the stadium were flown at half-mast, and black ribbons were placed on the goalposts as symbols of mourning.

Following the coin toss, the captains from both teams received floral arrangements and laid them at the Levante crest located on the sideline, accompanied by Delia’s family, which included Pablo Sánchez, president of Levante UD; Paco Fenollosa, honorary president of the club; and Antonio Dávila, vice president of RCD Espanyol. During this poignant moment, a heartfelt melody from a song by Joaquín Sabina, Delia’s favorite artist, was played on the piano.

Subsequently, Pablo Sánchez placed a Levante jersey bearing Delia’s name over one of the crests at the tunnel exit, a gesture mirrored by Antonio Dávila with an RCD Espanyol jersey on the opposite crest. Both the jerseys and floral arrangements remained visible throughout the match.

The tribute concluded with a moving minute of silence, during which images of Delia Bullido were displayed on the video screens. Through this act, Levante UD sought to honor and pay a well-deserved tribute to a person who was an essential part of its recent history and will always be remembered by those who had the privilege of sharing their journey with her.
