Fred Grim Named Eredivisie Coach of the Month for December

Fred Grim has been awarded the title of Best Eredivisie Coach for the month of December. The interim coach of Ajax experienced a disappointing start but has since turned the team’s fortunes around.

Ajax is currently vying for second place in the league and aims to secure cup victory. Grim acknowledges that while this individual accolade is not of paramount importance to him, it is gratifying for both the club and its supporters to see progress being made. In an interview with ESPN, the Ajax coach stated, “Ultimately, it’s very pleasing for the club and the supporters that we are making strides forward.”

Despite the positive results, Grim admits that the team’s performance has been inconsistent. When asked if Ajax’s signature style of play can be fully reinstated, he expressed optimism, saying, “I believe it can be achieved in the end.”
