Ajax’s Transfer Market Activity: Potential Player Exits

Ajax is anticipated to remain active in the transfer market. The Amsterdam club has already sold Kenneth Taylor to SS Lazio, but several more deals are on the horizon.

Reports indicate that Ajax is considering the sale of Owen Wijndal along with four other players. While these transactions may not be finalized, the club has identified five players who are open to transfer. Among them are Anton Gaaei, Branco van den Boomen, Kian Fitz-Jim, and Oliver Edvardsen. Notably, Lentin Goodijk from Voetbal International has added a surprising name to this list.

In a previous instance, Wijndal was placed in the second dressing room by the club’s management. However, in an interview with ESPN, he clarified that this would not compel him to leave: “Ultimately, I will be brought back to the squad, and I need to ensure that I am prepared. The media may claim that we refuse to train and other such things. Come on, I won’t be pushed out easily, even if some people fabricate stories. That seems a bit odd. You don’t have complete control; there have been certain incidents that were not entirely correct. I can’t influence those matters, but it’s part of the experience, and you learn from it. Compared to my first season at Ajax, I have made significant progress. I focus on myself and refuse to worry about others’ opinions.”
