Ajax Secures Loan Signing of Maximillian Ibrahimović from AC Milan

Ajax has confirmed the loan signing of Maximillian Ibrahimović, the son of football icon Zlatan Ibrahimović, from AC Milan.

This move marks a significant step for Maximillian, as he follows in his father’s illustrious footsteps, having experienced a triumphant three-year stint at Ajax, during which Zlatan secured two league titles.

The Dutch club has the option to purchase the 19-year-old forward at the conclusion of the season. He is expected to split his playing time between the Ajax under-23 team and the first team.

Maximillian joined AC Milan’s academy in 2022 and has spent the past six months competing with their second team, Milan Futuro, in the Italian Serie D.

Ajax’s director of football, Marijn Beuker, expressed enthusiasm over the signing, stating, “We are very pleased with the arrival of Maximillian. He is a talented forward with a keen sense of positioning in and around the penalty area, coupled with a strong goal-oriented finishing ability. His dribbling skills are impressive, and above all, he possesses a great winner’s mentality and a commendable training attitude.”
