Levante Set to Sign Ugo Raghouber on LoanLevante Set to Sign Ugo Raghouber on Loan

Ugo Raghouber is on the verge of joining Levante. The Spanish club is close to securing the services of the 22-year-old French midfielder from Lille, a team competing in France’s top division. Raghouber will be the first signing of the winter transfer market, arriving on loan until the end of the season.

This season, Raghouber has had limited playtime, making only two appearances for Lille. He featured for three minutes in a league match against Lorient in August and played over an hour in the Europa League third-round match against PAOK.

One of the intriguing aspects of this new signing is Raghouber’s recent history. He was previously on loan at Dunkerque in France’s second division, a club that was managed last season by Levante’s current coach, Luís Castro.

This loan arrangement would mark the seventh player within Levante’s squad operating under a similar contractual framework. However, the addition of another loan player complies with FIFA regulations, as there are exceptions for players under the age of 21, like Matías Moreno, allowing for straightforward registration in the league.
