Player Ratings Chelsea s Struggles in DefeatPlayer Ratings Chelsea s Struggles in Defeat

**Robert Sanchez (2/10):**
A truly dismal performance. He fluffed an early corner, allowing White to score with an easy header, and failed to secure a low cross which Gyokeres capitalized on. Although he made an exceptional save from Merino in the second half, his overall display was largely unforgivable.

**Josh Acheampong (4/10):**
Struggled to find his footing on the flanks, particularly against Trossard, who exploited his weaknesses.

**Wesley Fofana (4/10):**
Lacked the necessary leadership in defense, which was glaringly absent in Chelsea’s backline.

**Trevoh Chalobah (3/10):**
Had difficulty coping with Gyokeres’ physical presence and was notably inefficient in his passing.

**Marc Cucurella (3/10):**
Received a yellow card for a clear foul on Saka, indicating a lost battle in their ongoing rivalry.

**Andrey Santos (5/10):**
Stepped in for the suspended Caicedo but failed to match his level of control in midfield, particularly as Arsenal’s Rice and Zubimendi excelled.

**Enzo Fernandez (6/10):**
Managed to create a couple of opportunities but was ultimately outmatched by Arsenal’s midfielders.

**Joao Pedro (5/10):**
Struggled to find space in key areas and was limited in his attempts on goal prior to his late substitution.

**Estevao (7/10):**
Earned a booking after a confrontation with Trossard but consistently posed a threat when attacking Timber.

**Marc Guiu (4/10):**
Made little impact on the game and was substituted for Garnacho as Rosenior sought a way back into contention.

**Pedro Neto (7/10):**
Showed promise in the second half, assisting Garnacho’s first goal and looking threatening during Chelsea’s forward movements.

**Alejandro Garnacho (8/10):**
Displayed composure in front of goal to reduce the deficit and later scored again, keeping Chelsea’s hopes alive in the match.

**Benoit Badiashile (5/10):**
Came on for Acheampong and received a booking shortly after for a foul on Saka.

**Jorrel Hato (4/10):**
Substituted in to strengthen the defense but still appeared somewhat fragile.

**Tosin Adarabioyo (4/10):**
Like Hato, he brought fresh energy to the defense, yet Chelsea remained exposed.

**Shumaira Mheuka (N/A):**
The 18-year-old was introduced late in the game as Chelsea sought an equalizer.

**Liam Rosenior (6/10):**
Faced a challenging situation with Sanchez’s two critical errors. However, he could take some solace in his team’s response, managing to score two goals thanks to Garnacho.
