Borussia Dortmund Sets New Home Clean Sheet Record in BundesligaBorussia Dortmund Sets New Home Clean Sheet Record in Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund’s impressive 3-0 victory against Werder Bremen on Matchday 17 of the Bundesliga has set a new club record.

As noted by Opta, this match marked Dortmund’s sixth clean sheet at home in the Bundesliga this season, a league high, and also established a new club record for the first eight home matches.

With this result, Dortmund has reduced the gap to leaders Bayern Munich—who are scheduled to play on Wednesday—to eight points. Notably, only Vincent Kompany’s team, which has played one more home game this season, has garnered more points on home turf in the 2025/26 campaign.

Dortmund has achieved six wins and two draws at the Westfalenstadion, currently boasting three consecutive clean sheets against Hoffenheim, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Bremen.

The season commenced with two back-to-back clean sheets against Union Berlin and Wolfsburg, but Dortmund conceded a goal to RB Leipzig before securing a clean sheet against 1. FC Köln. They faced a setback by allowing three goals against Stuttgart.
