Excelsior Rotterdam is reportedly interested in securing a loan deal for Miliano Jonathans from FC Utrecht, according to various sources at SoccerNews. The 21-year-old forward has found limited opportunities with FC Utrecht and is expected to be available for loan.

In their quest to strengthen the squad, Excelsior has identified Jonathans as a potential asset to help them avoid relegation this season. The team, managed by Ruben den Uil, is in need of offensive reinforcements, having scored only seventeen goals so far—only NAC Breda has scored fewer, with sixteen goals. Currently, Excelsior sits fourteenth in the Eredivisie standings with nineteen points.

The Rotterdam-based newcomer is looking to loan Jonathans for the remainder of the season. Reports suggest that the young player is open to the idea of a (temporary) new challenge. However, Excelsior faces competition from multiple clubs both domestically and internationally, although they appear to be the most serious contenders at this time.
