Marc Bartra has officially joined the coaching staff of Betis’ Cadete A team as part of the practical requirements for his coaching course. The team, currently leading its group, is under the guidance of head coach Antonio Benítez.

According to Talento Base, the coaching staff includes Alberto Rábano as the assistant coach, Juanma Pérez as the fitness trainer, Baldo López as the goalkeeper coach, and Carlos Vega serving as the analyst. Four years ago, in an interview with MARCA, Bartra hinted at his future aspirations, stating, “In 20 years, I see myself still involved in football, whether as a sporting director or a coach.”

His vast experience makes him an invaluable asset for the younger players. As of Thursday, Bartra is celebrating his 35th birthday, having accumulated 481 official matches, 29 goals, and 15 assists during his career with clubs such as Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, and Betis, where he is currently in his eighth season. Bartra is undertaking the coaching training cycle and requires these practical experiences to complete the course.
