In his 302nd appearance in the Bundesliga, Andrej Kramarić made a remarkable return to the starting line-up by netting an impressive first-half hat-trick, propelling TSG Hoffenheim to a commanding 5-0 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach. This win signifies Hoffenheim’s fifth consecutive victory at home.

Kramarić showcased his finishing prowess by opening the scoring from the penalty spot after Wouter Burger was fouled by Philipp Sander. With this goal, Hoffenheim has successfully converted their last 19 penalties in the Bundesliga, with Kramarić himself scoring 14 of those as TSG’s No. 27.

He completed his hat-trick in stoppage time during the first half, scoring two goals within a span of three minutes. The second goal was a delicately placed finish past goalkeeper Moritz Nicolas, which was soon followed by a stunning third goal—one that could easily be a contender for Goal of the Month.

From the right flank, Kramarić skillfully received the ball and executed a lob over the stranded Nicolas from a tight angle, showcasing his exceptional technique.

In his return to Christian Ilzer’s starting lineup, Kramarić played a crucial role behind Fisnik Asllani and Tim Lemperle, forming an effective trio that consistently challenged Gladbach’s vulnerable defense right from the outset.

Moreover, Kramarić had two significant missed opportunities and created one additional chance, further cementing his position as Hoffenheim’s joint top goalscorer this season with his three goals against Die Fohlen.
