Feyenoord is currently facing considerable turmoil. The Rotterdam club has not had a smooth return from the winter break, managing only a 2-2 draw against sc Heerenveen. Alongside this disappointing result, the team suffered yet another injury, this time to Givairo Read, marking yet another case in a long list of injury issues that seem preventable under the guidance of head coach Robin van Persie. It appears that Van Persie is not only dismissing the concerns of the medical staff but is also not adequately engaging with his assistant coaches.

This situation has led to the emergence of potential unrest within the club.

Reports indicate that Van Persie is at odds with the Feyenoord staff. Last season, under Brian Priske, the team faced numerous injury challenges, and this season under Van Persie, the situation has not improved significantly. The question arises: is the medical staff truly at fault, or are there deeper issues at play?

Assistant coach René Hake is reportedly contributing to the discomfort within the team. According to sources, very few people at Feyenoord seem capable of reining in Van Persie. Neither his assistants, René Hake, John de Wolf, nor Etienne Reijnen appear to possess the assertive personalities necessary to tell Van Persie to adjust his approach. The consensus is that everyone in Rotterdam is attempting to navigate the situation diplomatically, but with little success.
