Real Oviedo and Getafe in Talks for Juanmi TransferReal Oviedo and Getafe in Talks for Juanmi Transfer

Real Oviedo and Getafe are currently in discussions regarding the transfer of Juanmi. The Asturian club aims to bolster its attacking options, focusing on the Malaga forward.

Juanmi has not been part of José Bordalás’s plans, similar to teammate Neyou. Consequently, Getafe would be open to allowing both players to leave the club, which would also alleviate some of the financial constraints related to salary caps for registering new players, as they are among the highest earners in the squad.

In the most recent match against Real Sociedad, Juanmi scored his first league goal of the season, having participated in seven league games and three cup matches. Notably, during the initial round of the cup against Inter Valdemoro, an amateur team from southern Madrid, he netted four out of the team’s eleven total goals.

Juanmi joined Getafe on loan from Real Betis during the last winter transfer window. Following the completion of the loan period, Getafe exercised their purchase option outlined in the loan agreement, making him a permanent player as of June 30. He is now poised for a potential transfer if negotiations prove successful.
