Potential Transfer of Leo Sauer to AS Roma

Recent reports from Italian media suggest that the left winger could be on the move to AS Roma, who are in search of a new flank player, with Sauer being one of the prominent options under consideration. It remains to be seen what the Roman club would be willing to offer Feyenoord for Sauer, as well as what the Feyenoord director, Dennis te Kloese, would demand in return.

Feyenoord’s coach, Robin van Persie, expressed that they had anticipated more from Sauer this season. He remarked, “I believe Leo has a significant impact on our style of play, but if we look strictly at his assists and goals, they are unfortunately too few.
