Ajax’s Ambitious Pursuit of Top Talent

Ajax is committed to reclaiming the second position from Feyenoord. The club appears to be closing in on a significant acquisition, Oleksandr Zinchenko, but this may just be the beginning of their transfer activity.

On Sunday, Fabrizio Romano revealed that Zinchenko will continue his football career at Ajax. Currently on loan from Arsenal to Nottingham Forest, the Ukrainian midfielder has seen limited playing time. It is expected that Arsenal will terminate the loan agreement, allowing Zinchenko to sign a multi-year contract at the Johan Cruyff ArenA.

There are also discussions regarding the potential return of Daley Blind, as well as interest in Manuel Ugarte from Manchester United. SoccerNews journalist Mounir Boualin commented, “I believe Ajax is in good talks with Blind. At this moment, it seems more promising than the other mentioned candidates.”
