Dennis te Kloese remains the primary decision-maker in technical matters at Feyenoord, but it appears that the club is contemplating a change in leadership. Te Kloese has been fulfilling a dual role, yet recent transfer windows have not yielded the desired results, prompting intervention according to the Algemeen Dagblad.

Te Kloese began his tenure as technical director at Feyenoord with notable success, collaborating effectively with coach Arne Slot. Under their partnership, the club achieved significant victories both on the field and financially, a period which the Algemeen Dagblad rated highly with a score of ‘9’. However, this rating has reportedly declined sharply in recent times.

Te Kloese’s dual role is now under scrutiny, especially as head coach Robin van Persie continues to face challenges despite consistent poor results. There are concerns regarding van Persie’s relationships with several players, leading to fears he may be losing control over the locker room. Interestingly, Te Kloese had previously expressed confidence in Brian Priske a year prior, yet that collaboration came to an end shortly thereafter.
