Hugo Pérez has been identified as one of the players likely to depart during this winter transfer window, and this has been officially confirmed this morning. The Huesca football club has announced that it is terminating his loan agreement and returning him to Espanyol. The Catalan player has already found a new home, where he will play for Nástic de Tarragona until the end of the season.

Pérez joined Alcoraz this summer with the expectation of becoming an integral part of the team; however, he never gained the confidence of either Sergi Guilló or the current coach, Jon Pérez Bolo. He has participated in only four matches, with just three as a starter. In fact, he has not seen any playing time in the league under the current coach, with his last appearance being on November 1 against Albacete.

In the interim, he was a starter in a Copa del Rey match against Racing de Ferrol, but subsequently, he was again left on the bench during the game against Osasuna. His departure was anticipated, similar to that of Gustavo Albarracín, who is also set to leave in the coming days due to a lack of playing time. Albarracín will return to Alavés, which is already seeking a new opportunity for him in the second half of the season.

As for new arrivals, it is expected that the signing of Jair Amador will be made official this week as a replacement for Hugo Pérez. The central defender recently terminated his contract with Eibar, and his return to Huesca is pending official confirmation. This addition comes at a critical time, with Huesca currently positioned in the relegation zone.
