In a significant new partnership, Lamine Yamal will engage in global campaigns for American Eagle, alongside limited-edition product collaborations.

This collaboration arrives just in time for the upcoming World Cup in the United States. Yamal, a rapidly emerging star in global soccer, is anticipated to play a crucial role for Spain as he contributed to the team’s success in the Euros, leading them to a trophy in 2024.

“I couldn’t be more excited to begin this journey with American Eagle,” Yamal expressed. “Outside of soccer, I enjoy exploring fashion trends, and as a leading lifestyle and denim brand, AE provides the perfect platform for me to express my energy and style.”

Jennifer Foyle, the president and executive creative director of American Eagle and Aerie, remarked, “Soccer garners an unparalleled global audience, and our multiyear partnership with Lamine Yamal positions AE at the very center of this fandom, underscoring our commitment to him, the sport, and our customers.”

Since making his mark at Barcelona during the 2023-24 season, Yamal has swiftly ascended to prominence as one of the brightest young talents in soccer history. He became the youngest player ever nominated for a Ballon d’Or at the age of 17 and, a year later, was a runner-up for this prestigious individual accolade. His contributions were instrumental in helping Barcelona achieve a domestic treble last season, and during Spain’s Euro 2024 victory, he became the youngest player to both play and score in a European Championship.

This season, Yamal has netted 10 goals in 25 matches, aiming to exceed the 18 goals he scored across 55 games last season.

Currently, Yamal and Barcelona are leading La Liga, holding a narrow one-point advantage over their rivals, Real Madrid. The club’s next challenge is in the Champions League, where they will face Slavia Praha on Wednesday. Spain’s inaugural World Cup match is scheduled for June 15 in Atlanta, against Cape Verde.
