Quinten Timber s Departure and Club Dynamics at FeyenoordQuinten Timber s Departure and Club Dynamics at Feyenoord

As Quinten Timber prepares to exit Feyenoord, he remains a significant topic of discussion. Following Feyenoord’s New Year reception, Mikos Gouka, a club watcher for the Algemeen Dagblad, engaged with Dennis te Kloese regarding the current circumstances surrounding the Rotterdam club. Naturally, inquiries about Timber and coach Robin van Persie emerged, along with speculation about a physical altercation.

Te Kloese refrains from commenting on the reported clash between Timber and Van Persie. He continues to support Van Persie, reaffirming that he does not intend to dismiss the coach, despite the team’s recent 3-4 loss to Sparta. “I have not considered changing our coach, and that remains unchanged. There are several areas for improvement, which I have discussed with Robin,” Te Kloese disclosed to the AD. “What we discussed pertains to player fitness and the hierarchical structure within the club. We have addressed these issues, and Robin is open to solutions, prioritizing the club’s interests above his own. However, it is a collective responsibility to enhance our performance.”

Regarding Timber’s transfer, Te Kloese need not worry about further confrontations, as the Dutch international is on his way to Olympique Marseille. This move is financially beneficial for Feyenoord. SoccerNews journalist Mounir Boualin provided insights, stating, “The clubs are currently negotiating the transfer fee. I expect the amount to fall between 8 and 10 million euros, and I don’t anticipate it being much lower than that.”
