Harry Wilson s Future at Fulham Uncertain Amid Transfer InterestHarry Wilson s Future at Fulham Uncertain Amid Transfer Interest

Harry Wilson has netted seven goals in the Premier League this season.

Negotiations between Harry Wilson and Fulham regarding a new contract are currently paused amid increasing interest from various Premier League clubs in the Welsh forward. Wilson’s existing contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and despite Fulham’s prioritization of securing his future, an agreement has yet to be reached.

It is reported that Wilson is keen to gain clarity on the future of head coach Marco Silva, who is also out of contract this summer, before making any final decisions concerning a new deal.

Despite the possibility of losing the 28-year-old for free at the end of the season, Silva has publicly stated that there is “zero chance” Wilson will be sold during this transfer window.

Wilson has become one of the Premier League’s standout performers, having scored six goals in his last 12 matches across all competitions. This achievement brings his total for both Fulham and Wales this season to 12 goals, along with five assists.

Several top-flight clubs, including Aston Villa, Brentford, Everton, and Crystal Palace, are reportedly monitoring Wilson’s situation as the transfer deadline approaches on February 2. Furthermore, it is anticipated that more English and European clubs will join the pursuit if he becomes available on a free transfer this summer.

Meanwhile, Fulham is in discussions with Manchester City concerning a possible £35 million transfer for Oscar Bobb, who also plays on the right flank. Should Fulham successfully secure Bobb, it remains to be seen whether their stance on Wilson will shift as the transfer window progresses.

Wilson joined Fulham from Liverpool in 2021, initially on loan, with a permanent deal valued at £12 million. Since then, he has made 171 appearances and scored 33 goals for the club.
