Fulham has reportedly made a new bid of $38 million (€32 million) in their pursuit of American striker Pepi. GOAL confirmed on Monday that Fulham is one of several Premier League clubs monitoring the player, even after a previous offer of $35 million was rejected by PSV.

Last season, Pepi was the subject of a bid worth $20.7 million (€20 million) before a knee injury sidelined him, ultimately ending any prospects of a January 2025 transfer.

ESPN was the first to report Fulham’s latest offer. Interest in Pepi remains high despite a recent injury that will keep him out of action until March. He sustained the injury during PSV’s victory over Excelsior on January 10, when he fell after attempting to score, resulting in a broken arm that required surgery and a recovery period of approximately two months.

Nonetheless, Fulham has continued to pursue Pepi, submitting bids with the knowledge that the striker will not be available to play for several weeks.

After gradually re-integrating into the team following his knee injury in January 2025, Pepi showcased his potential in the latter part of 2025, recording eight goals and one assist in 716 minutes of Eredivisie play this season, with eight of those appearances being starts. Additionally, he has netted three goals in the Champions League, scoring against Napoli, Olympiacos, and Atletico Madrid.

The January transfer window remains open for a few more days, with the Premier League deadline set for 7 p.m. local time on February 2. Currently, Fulham is positioned seventh in the Premier League following a 2-1 victory over Brighton on Saturday, which brings them within three points of fourth-place Chelsea. Meanwhile, PSV is leading the Eredivisie but faces challenges to maintain their position in the Champions League as they prepare for their final group stage match against Bayern Munich.
