Fer López Returns to Celta After Stint in England

omidbasir- Fer López arrived in Vigo on Sunday night and dedicated his morning on Monday to undergoing a medical examination. Meanwhile, Wolverhampton and Celta are finalizing the documentation for the player’s loan.

The announcement of his return is anticipated to take place on Monday afternoon, with López expected to start training under Claudio Giráldez on Tuesday. However, he will not be eligible to play on Thursday in Belgrade due to not being registered for the Europa League, but he will be available for the subsequent round. His return to the pitch as a Celta player is scheduled for Sunday against Getafe.

López, a product of the Celta youth academy, had limited involvement in England, logging only 364 minutes across all competitions while playing for a struggling Wolverhampton team that has accumulated just 8 points this season.

After a six-month absence, he returns to the club where he developed, having participated in 20 matches and scored 4 goals during his time in the first team last season.
