Fulham in Talks to Sign Oscar Bobb from Manchester CityFulham in Talks to Sign Oscar Bobb from Manchester City

Oscar Bobb has missed nearly the entire last season due to a fractured bone in his leg, but now the winger is at the center of negotiations as Fulham looks to secure his signature from Manchester City.

According to sources speaking to BBC Sport, Fulham, managed by Marco Silva, is nearing an agreement for the 22-year-old player. Bobb’s standing at City has diminished following the January arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.

In a recent statement after City’s victory over Wolves, manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged the ongoing discussions, saying, “I know there are rumors, I know there are talks. But I don’t know right now.” When asked if Bobb is inclined to leave the club, Guardiola responded, “I think so.”

This season, Bobb has made 15 appearances for City without finding the net, with his last outing being on December 17 against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, where he suffered an injury within the first 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, Fulham is enjoying a strong run, having lost only one of their last seven Premier League matches under Silva, currently sitting seventh in the table following a 2-1 victory over Brighton.

Bobb, who has represented Norway six times this year and contributed to their qualification for this summer’s World Cup, would join compatriot Sander Berge at Craven Cottage. His potential transfer comes after a challenging season, having been sidelined nearly entirely due to injury since August 2024.

In addition to pursuing Bobb, Fulham has also submitted a £28 million bid for PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi.
