omidbasir- Jordynn Dudley, an accomplished American forward and two-time NCAA champion from Florida State University, has officially signed with Gotham FC. Her contract extends through 2028, and she is currently in London with the team as they gear up for their inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

Throughout her collegiate career, Dudley was recognized as an All-American for three consecutive years, a remarkable achievement that marks her as the first player from FSU to receive this honor thrice.

At just 21 years old, she recently announced her decision to turn professional, opting to forgo her final year of eligibility in college soccer. As one of the standout prospects in this year’s class making the transition to professional play, her decision is anticipated to have a notable impact.

The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) eliminated its draft system following the ratification of a new collective bargaining agreement in 2024, allowing college players the autonomy to select their teams.

During her time at FSU, Dudley netted an impressive 34 goals across three seasons. In 2025, she was a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy, awarded to the best player in college soccer.

“Jordynn is a dynamic attacker who has demonstrated the ability to influence games at an elite level,” stated Yael Averbuch West, General Manager and Head of Soccer Operations for Gotham FC. “We are thrilled to welcome her to our attacking lineup and are committed to supporting her growth as a professional athlete.”

Dudley has also made significant contributions as a youth international, helping the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) secure a bronze medal at the U-20 World Cup in 2024. Last year, she participated in the USWNT’s “Futures Camp,” where senior team head coach Emma Hayes evaluated talent for future opportunities.

Gotham FC secured the 2025 NWSL Championship in November, marking their second league title in three years. Additionally, they are the inaugural champions of Concacaf’s regional championship, which has qualified them for FIFA’s first-ever Women’s Club World Cup in 2028.

In May, Gotham will compete in the semifinals of the second edition of the Concacaf event. Their next challenge will be against South American champions Corinthians on Wednesday in the semifinals of the FIFA Champions Cup, with the winner set to face either Arsenal or Morocco’s ASFAR in the final.
