Hibernian FC has officially rejected an offer from Hellas Verona, an Italian Serie A club, for their striker Kieron Bowie.

The 23-year-old forward has made a notable contribution to the team, scoring 15 goals since his arrival at Hibernian in the summer of 2024. To date, Bowie has played 52 matches for the Easter Road side, showcasing his talent and potential.

Born in Kirkcaldy, Bowie received his first two caps for the Scotland national team last year. He began his football career with local club Raith Rovers before making a move to the Premier League with Fulham in 2020. However, he struggled to secure a first-team position at Craven Cottage and was subsequently loaned to Northampton Town for two seasons before returning to Scotland.

Hellas Verona has previously found success in recruiting players from Hibernian, notably signing left-back Josh Doig in 2022. Doig, who has one cap for Scotland, was later transferred to Serie A rivals Sassuolo two years later.
