Evaluation of Josip Sutalo’s Market Value Ahead of Ajax’s Match Against FC Volendam

omidbasir- Ajax is set to face FC Volendam on Saturday afternoon. In his pre-match analysis from the Johan Cruijff Arena, Bram van Polen advised that Ajax should consider selling Josip Sutalo if a bid of ten million euros is presented.

“Given this season’s performance, I would be inclined to sell Sutalo for ten million,” stated van Polen.

According to ESPN, there is interest in the Croatian defender from clubs in Germany and Italy. Sutalo joined Ajax two and a half years ago from Dinamo Zagreb for over twenty million euros. His performance peaked during the year under coach Francesco Farioli; however, he requires a low defensive line to thrive. Van Polen noted, “This was evident during the cup match against AZ away, where he struggled. Defending in large spaces is particularly challenging for him, and it is an area where he lacks proficiency.”
